This artwork illustrate the character i'm currently playing as in my Dnd campaign.
Biollante, a barbarian-fighter gnome, a path of the giant one to be precise, and so able to harness the stone giants powers she grew up with and become one herself in dire needs.
She is a war veteran that, with the conflict over, decided to travel around freely for once. in one of her explorations, she found her now trusty companion, Pisquillo, a talking warhammer in the shape of a bird, that does not remember a thing about his past aside from the burning feeling he should be delivered to someone.
Completely digital made in roughly two weeks (as a personal project, actual hours spent of this would more akin to 5 work days).
Given the region we're playing in, i drew inspiration for colothing and colors from traditional female peruvian dresses and decorations.
I'm not sure i gave justice to the culture i used; due maybe to some poor planning, i wasn't able to replicate and reassemble the actual shapes and decoration in my reference, and, in order to not take a month to finish this, i decided to use simpler shapes to better manage the whole.
If i were to rework this, i would sure start with better foundational shapes.
I do still think it came out pretty good, and wanted to share along some picture of the various different phases of progress.
